making moving images

Meg Case and Brad Porter are New York based artists and film-makers. Meg Case draws from her decade of experience as a production/set designer while Brad Porter utilizes his fifteen-year vocation as a cinematographer collaborating together as Case & Porter for the last nine years. They share a history of making art and films from childhood into their profession.

Case & Porter create experimental, short and feature films - fiction and nonfiction - music videos, commercials, brand and lifestyle content. They use an experimental and explorative approach prioritizing process over result, flexible and nimble, collaborative and adaptive to the needs of the project and partners. Their end-to-end filmmaking capabilities extend from writing, planning and preproduction, principle photography, editing, color, sound design and music.

Their works explore a personal cinema at the intersection of narrative power structures, the collective unconscious, infinite discovery, pan-fiction/dream/phenomenon-events, and the continual becoming of each person through the liberating medium of filmmaking.
C&P is the open and collaborative combined efforts of Meg Case and Brad Porter to:
  1. Follow the path with heart.
  2. Connect, Collaborate, and Cooperate.
  3. Kill the boss monster.
  4. Burn through borders.
  5. Fix our attention on symbols whose virtue is to endlessly point out our own ignorance.
  6. Separate signal from noise.
  7. To map the territory, and to remember the map is not the territory.
  8. Remind the forgetful that what is possible is always slightly more than what we believe is possible.
  9. Change each moment (movement is life).
  10. Be(come), in all things, with, and for, Love.
